What is Ribbing?

I guess I should explain ribbing to those of you who are just starting to knit. Ribbing is found on the cuffs on sweaters, around the neckline sometimes and/or at the bottom of your sweater. This helps these areas from rolling up. Usually a rib is combination of knitting 2 stitches and purling the next 2 stitches. You repeat these two stitches until the end of the row. This is why it is important to remember to wrap your yarn back and forth on your knitting needles.
